CBS RADIO’S All News 99.1 WNEW has been named as the Washington Wizards flagship radio broadcaster beginning with the 2014-15 season, it was announced today by the station and Monumental Sports and Entertainment. WNEW will broadcast all regular and postseason games beginning with the team’s match-up versus the Miami Heat on Wednesday, Oct. 29.
Veteran D.C. area play-by-play broadcaster Dave Johnson will return for his 17th season calling Wizards games, and is joined for the 7th year by analyst Glenn Consor.

Washington Wizards games were previously broadcast on CBS RADIO’s 106.7 The Fan (WJFK-FM). The station will continue to be the radio home of the Washington Capitals and Nationals.
