Peter Schwartz was named Senior Vice President, Market Manager and Director of Sales, CBS RADIO San Diego, it was announced today by Scott Herman, COO, CBS RADIO. The appointment is effective on Monday, Sept. 14.
Schwartz previously worked for CBS RADIO San Diego as General Sales Manager and then later Market Manager, spending 10+ years with the cluster. In this role, Schwartz will manage all operations and sales for KEGY-FM (Top 40) and KYXY-FM (Adult Contemporary).

Schwartz returns to CBS RADIO from Pandora where he was Regional Sales Manager and Senior Account Executive for select automotive sales accounts. Prior to Pandora, Schwartz was Regional Manager for MOGL, a start-up in the rewards loyalty space in San Francisco, building their operation in the Bay Area. Before MOGL, Schwartz was Vice President, Sales for Cumulus Media San Francisco, responsible for all station sales, including Giants and 49ers broadcasts.
Schwartz began his radio career in sales in Las Vegas at KMZQ, now known as KXNT-FM which is part of the CBS RADIO cluster of stations.
Schwartz received his degree in broadcast and film from Boston University’s College of Communications. He was an active Board member of the San Diego Make-A-Wish chapter, and also worked with the organization in San Francisco most recently.
